Global Warming or Climate Change?
The correct term is Global Warming and not climate change. The term climate change is a phrase devised by Political Strategist Frank Luntz in 1994. Global Warming sounded to frightening so to make the issue more innocuous politicos started using the term climate change, so the public would not get upset about the issue and want the Government to address the problem.
Global Warming is the term used to describe the issue when the Earth’s near surface temperature is rising and one effect of the problem is a change in the climate.
It just goes to show that over a decade ago, some made a conscious effort to sweep Global Warming under the proverbial table. So, when someone uses the term climate change, respectfully inform them that the correct term is Global Warming.
We all have to work together and start to aggressively address Global Warming and Energy Independence, NOW.
